Daniel started his musical career in his hometown of Echuca studying classical organ and then began learning the cornet in the Echuca Federal Band. He began conducting at an early age conducting school concert and jazz bands.
Since then Daniel has gone on to conduct numerous ensembles including brass bands, orchestras, new music ensembles and variety of shows and light opera including productions of “Annie”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”, “The Pirates of Penzance”, “The Witches of Eastwick” and “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
Most recently Daniel was appointed a life member of the Victorian Bands League.
Daniel studied Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, Teaching at Deakin University and Conducting at the University of Melbourne. Daniel holds Associate Diplomas in Band Studies (Horn) and Musicianship and is an Associate of Trinity College London on Euphonium.
Daniel is a brass teacher, music teacher, and band director at Wantirna College, De La Salle College, and East Doncaster Secondary College.
